MS Artificial Intelligence
Overview
The research and development in interdisciplinary domains of artificial intelligence applications can solve many daily routine problems and improve our lifestyle by offering products in many domains such healthcare. To meet these objectives, it is required to equip our students with the latest technologies and essential skills in AI covering both theoretical and practical aspects.
This program offers basic courses to understand core concepts of machine learning as well as specialized elective courses to train students with state-of-the-art skills in AI and teach them how to apply it in inter-disciplinary domains. This program will not only produce AI-trained scientists and engineers who can meet the requirements of AI in the Pakistani industry and will also address the global market. The degree will also help the students who are going to start a research-based career and planning to enroll in a PhD program.
Objectives:
The objective of this program is to develop AI related theoretical and research skills in students. In this context, the two-year program is divided into parts. The first year is dedicated to course work and second year is dedicated to a research. In the first year (2 semesters), the students will take fundamental AI courses along with electives, enhancing their skills in advanced applications of AI. In third semester, the students will start working on their thesis which will continue in 4th semester.
In this case, they can enroll in domain-wise courses which offer specialization in healthcare.
- Aim to be a healthcare provider or life science researcher with knowledge of AI, either in healthcare or biomedical research; or
- Aim to be a computer scientist or engineer who works with healthcare data
- Wish to be a driver of the development and deployment of AI into clinical practice or research.

Great stories are for everyone even when only written for just one person. If you try to write with a wide general audience in mind, your story will ring false and be bland. No one will be interested. Write for one person. If it’s genuine for the one, it’s genuine for the rest.
